It's a bucket list kinda month!
Early April saw Mark and I, Gail, Julia, Jon, Steve and Amy dress up fancy and drive up to the Gold Hill Inn for dinner on a Friday night together. Swanky!
Actually since at least half of us had had birthdays in the preceding two weeks, we were kinda celebrating all of us and just having this amazing group of friends that I'm incredibly grateful to be a part of.
The dinner was a Murder Mystery interactive event. Set in 1941 and called "Murder on the Airwaves", we were split into teams and tasked with investigating murder scenes, picking up on clues and then, at the end, writing a report that identifying Who did it, Why they did it and How they did it.
Fun!
Just in case you ever get the chance to attend this particular show/event/dinner, I'm not going to give anything away except to say that my team won. We edged out the team that came in second by not being shy in guessing the details - specific details - of one of the murders in particular.
One of my absolute favorite parts of the evening was when Jon stole the show, stepping in to play the Black Mantis character when the cast member was "killed"!
Spectacular evening with great friends in a quaint little historic town up in the foothills. What is not to be grateful for?!
